As they rushed upon the clearing, they stopped. Haltingly, they saw the mysterious temple that they chatted about. As they approached the entrance, arrows hurdled among their skins. They barely dodged the arrows, despite one of them had hesitancy to go.

Catgirl walks down the street, thinking of nothing evil, twirling her tail and humming a merry tune – some male in his fertile age sees her. Man stops thinking. Man starts drooling. Catgirl passes man and walks away without noticing him. Man still stands there drooling. After a while man wakes up as he realizes the catgirl is gone. Man looks down on him. His pants bulge. He walks somewhat awkwardly home.

Now… how did it happen that a seemingly sound minded man ended up like this?

Let’s roll the scene back and look into the detail. The man sees the catgirl, his most ancient instincts roar up inside him…but herein lies the problem… one of those instincts is – of course – the mating instinct. He sees a pretty girl, sees that her proportions are very fine and his instinct tells him “Yo dude…that’d be one fine mother for your children… her hips are wide enough to give birth to some healthy offspring and her breasts contain enough fat so they’ll surely have enough milk for getting the small guy well over his dangerous time”. But just when he inclines to listen to the instinct another instinct inside of him raises its voice – the danger instinct “Are you insane man? Look at that… it’s a wild cat… that’s a dangerous animal… if you’re not careful it will tear you to pieces. Not to mention that it will steal away all of your prey if you’re not careful.

The man now falls into a dangerous state of inner turmoil… two of his basic instincts fighting one another while his outer bodily shell is doomed to stand helplessly in the middle of the sidewalk. That’s when he’s already started drooling. In complete and utter inability to settle his inner dialogue he doesn’t even see the object of his desire pass out of his sight. After a while… when he finally makes up his mind that this matter is a big anough concern to be further (innerly) discussed, since he hasn’t been attacked yet and his wife is waiting with dinner at home anyway – she is long gone.

Suprisingly, I’m your mystery blogger today. I decided that it was time to tell you about Mr PFCorner. As you may or may not be aware, he’s a magical person from the same country as Jarudin….

Anyway, to make a long story short, PFCorner is the name of a company which does seedboxes. Being a brilliant person, he has basically catalogued ALL the boxtorrents loot. Yup, that’s it exactly, the reason why practically ALL torrents now have a seed is due to him.

In the three months he’s been around, he’s already uploaded over 14 TERABYTES of data, who wouldn’t want that sort of speed?

I am a fan of all 4 categories, but each has it’s own unique style and vibe! So, in this blog we’re going to post the good, the bad, and the funny things about each of them, in comparison.

Manga: Well, manga has very nice battle scenes. Even tough it’s black-and-white, it still proves to be a choice for many. Unlike the American comics, manga doesn’t have super-arcs, but usually the story follows the main-character and the plot is solely entered around them.

Comics: Comics have evolved greatly since 1939 when the first comic was published. In the beginning they were very simple with no arcs, and they promoted American patriotism and friendship. The drawings were simple but very colourful. Nowadays, comics have evolved in both content and art. Super-arcs involving most of the characters are present in the big comics publishers such as Marvel or DC.

Animé: Animé has the same strong and weak points as manga, and are mainly based on them, but they have a very annoying catch called “fillers”. Fillers don’t really have anything to do with the main story-line. They are created so the studios can get more money out of one series. The fillers usually don’t appear in the manga version. Animé movies are a little different however. They pose some of the characters in a spin-off situation, which doesn’t connect with the main story. The movies usually don’t have connections with their related animé, but there are some exceptions. The style of animation in animé hasn’t change much since the old days. However, there are notable differences in how the art style has progressed over the years. For example, lighting effect in 2008 are very different from its counterpart in 1998.

Cartoons: Since their creation, they have promoted the same ideas as the comics. In the old days, cartoons we’re based on gag-pun rather than in-depth plot and character development. Nowadays, many of the cartoons produced are based around the action and fighting style of retro superhero comics. We also have modern cartoons that are made for the adult public. There is a special program called “Adult Swim” which premières cartoons made for a more mature audience.

Anime and You.

They say that those who watch anime or read manga are ”special”, but not in the way that you or I would like to think. It can be noted that anyone can watch an anime, or read a manga, but why is it the different people. the ”uniques” as I like to call us, who get all the social negativity? I can talk about this personally, because I was. I remember it like it was yesterday: sitting on the floor of the crowed middle school hallway, minding my own busiess as I was reading some Naruto, like every young anime/manga fan has, I’m sure of. All of a sudden, there’s a hand infront of my page, and a bunch of jocks laughing and mocking me with ”HURDERP WHATCHYA READING THUR, SUM NARUTOMON OR SOMETHIGN?” I used to dislike those kinds of people, who constantly messed with me, just because I was ”different” as my mommy gently put it.

I was flipping through the tube the other day, and noticed that a little kid was charged with murder when he killed a couple of jocks. I could tell right away he was like me in a way. Nerdy, unpopular, and always at the ass-end of jokes. Through-out grade school, I was always bullied and picked on because I was different from the other kids. It continued into middle school, and by high school, I had managed to become the ”Most Nerdiest Kid” in the entire school, quickly joining Anime Club, and becoming Club President. Unlike him, I didn’t go killing people with my ninja swords, and pretend that I was my favorite anime/manga character. This can be said for anyone who is a nerd, geek, dork, dweeb, or otherwise the ”social outcasts” of our time. Don’t let people who mess with you because you are different get the best of you. Just because you read anime and manga, doesn’t mean you can’t go on to become great people. My mother, for instance, used to watch anime with me every day after school, and she’s now the owner of 3 local business. We even have plans to go to AWA this year as Keitaro and Naru from Love Hina. (Crazy, isn’t it?)

Remember this reader: As long as you do what you love to do, be it an aspiring voice actor, or the next best manga-ka, don’t forget that there will always be people who are just like you. Know your fellow brothers and sisters, and let us all enjoy that which is anime and manga.
