As most of you are well aware, on the 1st of April 2011 BakaBT decided to pilot a new initiative to ensure the safety and comfort of the users of the site whilst browsing.

The initiative was originally lead by The Chan Legion to try to atone for their sins in being evil gits, wanting to help out and finally achieve something worthwhile for the general masses.
This backfired.

Membership Milestone Reached!
Twenty three days ago, BakaBT reached a milestone figure of registered accounts. We hit the big 1,000,000 member mark. In order to celebrate this achievement I sent out a PM to the person who signed up BEFORE and AFTER to see if they’d be willing to talk to me about their experiences and the like.

First of all, I’d like to apologise for not having posted in such a long time… Again. >_>
Second of all, there’s been so much happening recently!
So, let’s start off with something of interest to me.
Hidden away on the forums, in a dark and damp corner is a game which is shortly starting round two. It’s called Werewolves, Serial Killers and Demons.
The Legion Marches Again!
A long time ago I created the Chan Legion to provide lulz and a warm troll-like feeling to BakaBT. Mainly focusing on annoying IRC users, we had lots of fun.
Our last main event was the October Rickroll. (Yes, I’m still giggling at all the people who cried about wasted bandwidth.)
Anyway, after this event, I closed the doors to the fortress and considered us done. A job completed and a mission achieved.
I was wrong.

It started with a dream… (isn’t that how all awesome stories start?) On a late Spring night, Chiya was frightfully bored. He had almost nothing to do. All he was doing was vegetating (sp) in front of his tiny monitors trolling on IRC.
